Is this normal

I am 4 months pp and had to have a C-section but is it normal for the belly to still feel like it’s numb and I not sure if it’s related but I have had sharp pains at side on scar since then but this week it hurt that much that I have been struggling to turn in bed as hurting. I am going doctors Tuesday but the phone convo I had with them he seemed useless n didn’t understand what I was meaning.

Yes, completely normal. I still have some slight numbness and we’re 20months PP - sharp pains went around a year after x

I think the numbness is normal.. I could touch / scratch my scar without it hurting or feeling tender around 6months after having it. Just remember it’s a major surgery we went through and the healing process takes time! As far as the pains, I’m not sure but if your concerned and they don’t give any helpful advice on Tuesday, I’d definitely make another appointment with a different doctor! Xx

I’m 3 and half month post c section and still feel numb and hurt to press on it I had physio for my back but they looked at my scar and mentioned scar massaging and touching all the tingling areas near scar to try and reactivate the nerve endings and they will still be reattaching (don’t in one if that’s the right terminology) but. Hey Ho

Dont know about the sharp pains but I’m 3.5 months pp and it’s still numb. My friend said her numbness lasted for about a year so I think it’s normal. X

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet driving them mad?? It goes off 5/6 times night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off! Anyone had similar issues?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.
