Placenta?

I had a c section 4 weeks ago today. I was in the hospital for 9 days due to an infection and was treated with antibiotics. Got out of the hospital for 4 days, had 2 fevers at home, went back to hospital where blood tests showed I was still fighting the infection. Treated with more stronger antibiotics. Last night I passed this while using the restroom. It is about the size of a baseball. Is this placenta left behind?! I have googled and googled and seems this is a rare occurrence so I can’t find a whole lot of information.

You should definitely go back to the hospital and let them know asap

I’ve already been to ER and gotten ultrasound and confirmed all is well. I’m asking for help identifying bc I believe I’m being gaslit by medical professionals that are trying to cover their asses.

You should definitely get a second opinion about what that is and if you're okay. That's quite large

my OB is trying to say it’s a uterine cast, ER doc says it’s likely placenta left behind but since I only had a picture they couldn’t say for sure without getting it tested

It looks like part of the placenta. So frustrating, I'm really sorry 😞

You need to get it tested somehow to know for sure. It is great you have photographic evidence. It looks like it can be either a cast or part of the placenta. So scary!!!

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
