Elective C Section
I’m booked in for my second sweep tomorrow @ 40+3. My first one was unsuccessful as my cervix was too high and not dilated at all.
If the second one is also unsuccessful, we’ve opted for an elective C section rather than being induced.
I’m at Medway hospital, has anyone been in the same kind of situation? How long does it take for them to book you in for a section?

You also have the option of waiting for spontaneous onset of labour if you go to 42 weeks and also having at least twice weekly monitoring and appointments if wanted. They should offer that, caesarean or induction equally and respect whatever decision you make. You’re not overdue until 42 weeks despite what they may be saying to you.

Thursday just fine, was 40 weeks, although they didn’t actually do one as my cervix was too high and not dilated at all x
