Anyone got any experience with a baby on a plane?
In a couple weeks we are going to a wedding in Northern Ireland and are flying over. I’m absolutely dreading the flight with my 9 month old son.
Im so worried about how he’s going to react, any tips would be appreciated!
We are flying with easyJet and apparently can take two items for free in the hold, how does this work?
I’m taking a car seat and the pushchair.
And apparently you can take the pushchair to the aircraft so you can use around the airport?

We went away when my daughter was 5 months old and it wasn’t bad at all! All I would say is plenty of snacks and maybe get a new toy that he has never seen before and give it to him on the flight so he’s more entertained ☺️
he loves new toys so that is actually a really good idea. Thank you ☺️

Try to give baby something to suck on during take off and landing. Either a bottle or dummy so their ears don't pop.
Yes you can take the pushchair right up to the plane.

I've flown solo with my boy multiple times, first when he was 4 months and it's always been fine! Breastfeed him or give him a snack during take off and landing to help his ears pop, download something engaging on your phone (we used dancing fruit in the early days), put all things baby into a rucksack that fits under the seat so you're not faffing with the overhead lockers, bring books and a couple of small toys, snacks if he'll eat them, get an aisle seat so you can walk him when the seatbelt sign is off, and get on the plane last so you have freedom for as long as possible!
Lastly, do your best to relax a they feed off you're emotions :) he'll do great and everyone will think he's a golden baby! Xx
