UC/ tax free childcare

I’m not sure about the UC but basically you put money for childcare in a special account that you have to set up through the government gateway, then you get extra money from the government added in to top it up and then you use the money in the account to pay the childcare provider. I’ll be honest, it is a pain in the bum but worth doing if you want the top up. Perhaps investigate the UC but though as it may not be worth your while? x

Is this the same for free hours? 😄

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure you can receive either UC or the tax free child care but not both x
