My boy is 11 weeks old and wakes up wanting a bottle 2/3 times between the hours of 3am-6am.
Most nights he will be asleep by 7pm and wakes at 12am and again around 3am for a feed. At these times he generally has a whole bottle (120-150ml). But then he is very wakeful from 3am onwards, often waking at around 4:30am and 5:45am wanting a bottle but has very little of it (maybe 60-90ml) before falling back to sleep.
We’ve tried using the dummy and rocking to soothe him instead of offering the bottle in these wake ups as I suspect he wants the bottle for comfort rather than because he’s hungry. But he will just cry and cry until he’s fed.
Any advice for a severely sleep deprived mum would be much appreciated x

I’ve got no advice unfortunately. Just offering support. If you can get through the newborn phase you can get through this one too! 💪🏼. Definitely one time to sod any house work and jobs, nap when he naps and be selfish and don’t meet up with loads of people and make plans, you’ll just exhaust yourself. Got to look after you too! X

Maybe he just wants to suck to get back to sleep? Mine is the same from 5am ish. Have you tried a dummy?
