HEARTBURN !!!

me too!! i’ve been having it throughout my pregnancy but last night oh my god it was so bad i felt like i couldn’t breathe and nothing would get rid, then all of a sudden it went and i felt like a right idiot🤣

I have it awful at night I don’t think drinking coke helps because I two cans last night. I take milk with ice to bed helps relieve it a little. It’s awful though really burns my throat xx

This last few nights have been the first in months I haven’t suffered overnight with it. Unless baby has moved down away from my stomach, the only changes I’ve made that could have made it easier are no fizzy drinks, eating meal before 6pm then having something like cereal about an hour before bed, no slouching on the sofa (literally sitting upright), medicine before bed, drinking milk and an extra pillow in bed.

A couple of Rennie and a glass of milk have been life savers for me when the heartburn gets really bad. In the last 4 weeks it's nearly every night.

I’ve had it the whole of my pregnancy and worse now I am nearly 39 weeks - the only thing which helps me is gaviscon but the advanced one! Take a big gulp and keep sitting up for a little while - or the dr did prescribe me some tablets which I take when it gets unbearable ☺️
