Village

My village is my husband, my mum and my in laws. My friends are there for advice but they have their own kids so not gonna ask them to help with mine

I bet it’s NOT you! I still haven’t found mine. When I moved away from home I found some great friends, but then they moved out of state. Finding true, supportive friends has been a struggle for me for the last few years especially since having my daughter. As people get older they just seem to do their thing. I’ve always had my village of girls and relied on them more than family or significant others, so it’s really hard to not have that. I totally understand how you feel. Sometimes you just have to get a sense early on if the people who claim to be your friend are truly interested in your well being and aren’t being selfish. Ditch the selfish ones before you get too invested

My husband and kids are my village. We moved away from home, only an hour, but literally no one makes an effort to come see us. Unless I go to them, I won’t see them. And it is so hard to make friends when your older. People already have their click, or they just suck lol. So I stick with my perfect little family 😊
