Towards the end, the 3rd trimester

Ughhh so far away lol but realistically it makes sense to wait 😭

At 9 weeks I bought things that was a really good price then I really started right at my 2nd trimester. Congrats 😊

I wanted until 12W and just went crazy if there was a good deal. I didn’t want to wait at all, I did have to mentally prepare myself for it something went wrong.

I'm 25+4 and have barely bought anything because I'm too superstitious. Clothes etc can be bought and delivered so quickly that I'm not rushing.

I was just in target and I was like you know what, i’m gonna wait til the 12 week mark and my second appointment near then. I’m kind of the same way, im nervous and I feel weird about if I buy something early then something will happen. hopefully all things will go well though 🙏🏻

yep I think I might wait til the 12 week mark as well. my next ultrasound is at 11 weeks so if everything goes well again by then, I’ll go for it. Just super nervous now

I started buying baby clothes that were either on sale or things I just really really wanted for whenever we eventually had a baby like a year before I found out about my baby boy on the way. It was a slight obsession but I figured either I would use them for my own babies or I could use them as gifts for other people and that turned into a whole tote full of baby stuff before I even got pregnant with him😂 I was probably 6-8 weeks when I bought the first clothes after finding out about baby boy though, and I also had a miscarriage 8 months prior to my boy and was only about 4 weeks so never even got to buy anything or see an ultrasound for my angel baby

2nd trimester

I waited until 12wk scan but ultimately its whenever you feel comfortable

I waited till I got out the first trimester

I didn't buy things until late 2nd trimester. It was better to wait because we got a ton of clothes at our shower and when baby was born, so we definitely would have had doubles and things we didn't need if we had been stocking up all along. Waiting made sure we only had to fill gaps in certain sizes!

I waited until I was 23 weeks because honestly they say that when a baby life is savable If you were to go into labor early,. Looking back I wish I would’ve started before 23 weeks. She would have way more stuff by now. Lol but I didn’t
want to risk buying so much stuff if something were to happen, I would’ve been sad..

I bought 1 baby grow at 17 weeks, and then waited until my third trimester (from 30 weeks) to start buying everything

I waited till the 20week scan and then bought

As soon as I found out. Can always return stuff or save it for the next baby

You kinda don’t need to buy a lot of stuff, especially for a newborn. Sets of 4-5 at most. They’ll grow out of it soooo fast. I’m in the 3rd trimester now and don’t have a single clothing item bought yet, because I knew that if I started early, I would overbuy.
