How long after the propess/pessary or gel did you go into labour (established)? I am due to be induced today for a variety of medical reasons and I am hoping to gauge how long it may take, as I have other children and need make arrangements for the next few days.

I’ve been induced since Sunday! Had 24hr pessary inserted and then had to wait before a bed becomes available for me on labour ward. Had really mild contractions/tightenings, spaced about 10-15 mins apart when I had the pessary in. Hoping to be transferred to labour ward before midday 😫
Oh gosh fingers crossed for you!! Are you able to move around, and bounce on a ball or anything to try and progress?

My first baby I was induced with pessary and was having regular contractions only a matter of hours afterwards. Had my waters broken and hormone drip and baby came within 24 hours of starting the process. I was overdue by 2 weeks though so think he was ready to make an appearance, think it really varies on person to person so it’s hard to gauge a real sense of time for each individual 😬

Yes, had the ball out and been able to walk around the hospital grounds! 😊
I’ve just been told to come in at 2pm. So excited! But very apprehensive as I’ve never been induced before. I’ve had 3 really lovely spontaneous labours, so hoping for another positive experience 🌸
