We are going to visit family in mexico for 2 weeks in a couple of months. Looking for anyone who has experience going internationally for over a week and any advice or must haves are appreciated. She has been on an airplane a couple of times but we have never been away from home this long with her.
We have already got her a passport.

Hi ! Wife of a very proud Guanajuato husband 🤣 we have gone 3 times since my son was born. Once at 3 months most recently at 7 months. I would recommend not to bring your full size stroller as they don’t fit on the sidewalks in most cities , too many ppl walking close together. I used a baby carrier most of the time to keep him close to me and I used my doona stroller which doubled as a car seat when traveling by car. Lots of snacks for the plane and try to fly at night or close to bed time. For the rancho I brought two sleeves of diapers with me (the quality of diapers in Mexico is not very good) if your baby has sensitive bum then bring him his regular diapers if not then you could buy some. Wipes the same. I bought a travel folding bottle drying rack and a new bottle brush which I tossed when we flew home. For sterilizing parts boil water the old fashioned way. Most of it is going to depend what part of Mexico you are traveling too.

We did a 2 hour and 3 hour flight with our June 2022 baby and it was a nightmare! I’m sorry! But yes they just squirm & need to be constantly entertained bc they are at that age. Just do it and know that the flight has to end at some point! 😂
