Sweep at 37+5

I have a sweep booked in on Thursday with my consultant. Anyone got any success stories from sweeps at this stage? 🤞🏽

I had a sweep today at 37 +2 and I’m having regular contraction so finger crossed 🤞

I had a sweep yesterday at 37+4 and not sure whether I’ve had my bloody show this morning. Keeping an eye on things now

how did you both get on? 🤞🏽 xx

well I phoned the assessment unit around lunchtime as I’d had a few more ‘shows’ and they said I could be in early labour, just had tightenings during the day, no pain as such

I’ve had my show and having tightenings just not regular at the minute .

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?
