So it’s night 2 of baby being in her cot and in her own room. Night 1 went badly so I’ve already got anxiety. She’s been asleep since 8 but has rolled onto her front. She can roll both ways but now I’m just worried. What do you do? I have been tempted to roll her over but I can’t be doing that when I’m asleep. I feel another sleepless night coming on 😩

Just leave her, she’s got her head turned and she’ll just keep rolling over anyway. My boy sleeps on his front all night every night!
Ok thanks I’m trying to relax but it feels like when I brought her home from hospital again 🙈

My little one only sleeps like that, I was attentive at the beginning but once they know how to roll back I believe it's fine

My lg has been sleeping like this for a couple of months now, she hardly ever sleeps in her back. I sat and worried for the first few nights, rolled her on her back and by the time I’d stood up straight she’d rolled onto her front again, so I gave up. As long as they can roll and keep their heads turned, they’ll be fine and probs sleep better for it.

Our LB started the exact same thing when we first put him in the big cot. Had a few nights of rolling him back over and me not sleeping with worry but he just kept rolling back. He will only sleep on his front now so, I just put him in a sleeping bag now instead of a blanket.

Unfortunately it’s going to happen and although it’s scary you will get used to it. My little girl has been sleeping on her front from around 4 months old. As long as face isn’t smushed into the matress it’s ok, if they’re nose/mouth are covered they will move their head. Try not to worry, easier said than done but you will get used to it x
Thank you all. It was a really good night although she did bash her head on the side of the cot but it didn’t seem to bother her. I didn’t get much sleep but I definitely feel better about it! Xx
