So I’ve got a couple of questions ladies
1. Is it normal for babies to sleep for really long periods. My LO is 3 weeks and last night she slept for almost 6 hours and when she finally woke up she breastfed for 7 minutes then went back to sleep for 2 hours and when she woke up she only breastfed for 10 minutes. Is this normal, has anyone else experienced this?
2. May I please get recommendations on supplements or ways to boost my milk supply

1. Yes, enjoy it!!!
2. Nothing you can eat or drink is proven to improve supply. Feed, feed some more, skin to skin and pump.
What's making you think it needs boosting?

My LO is 4 weeks tomorrow and is sleeping more than awake at the moment…im just enjoying the snuggles and rest 🥰

My midwife advised me to look up Tiger milk breastfeeding recipe on Google to increase supply x
I’m worried that if she’s sleeping that much then she’s not feeding enough😅
I’m trying to express so that my partner can help with night time feeds. I’ve tried pumping but I don’t get a lot
thank you! I’ll look it up as well

I think 6 hours sounds a bit long to be asleep. Things I have read suggest to wake them up to feed so they don't go over 4 hours as their blood sugars go low and then it's more difficult to rouse them and they'll be too tired/low energy to feed properly. I think the heat is making the babies a lot sleepier at the moment. I'd check with HV or midwife that they are happy with your baby sleeping that long. X
that makes perfect sense why she wasn’t feeding for long. Thank you!
