Hi mamas!
My LG is turning 8 months next week, I've just got her weighed and she weighed in at 20lbs and is in the 88th percentile.
I weigh her every month and last month she was 17lb 15.5oz and was in the 75th percentile.
It's quite a jump! I'm just wondering if it's anything to be worried about or does it mean a strong, healthy baby? Am I feeding her too much? She's on 3 meals a day now with 4 milk feeds (breastfeeding) and honestly gives me no cues that she's done with solids whatsoever haha! So I've been up and down for the last month worrying if I'm giving her too much, too little, am I spacing out milk and solids well enough?
Hopefully all this means she's just enjoying her food! 🤞🏼

Hey, I have heard they can increase weight when weaning but once crawling it will level out, my baby is a right chunk tbh 🤣 I’m just trying to go with my babes cues if he wants more or less but if you are worried speak to your HV though

My little man has always been in the 50th percentile, we don't get him weighted ofter but he jumped to the 91st in the space 9f a few months!! Our HV said it will be because he's taken to food well and it is quite common x

My wee man jumped from 50 to 75 percentile and my HV was trying to give me shit for it but I told her to get lost. A blind person can see there's barley any chunk on him. I measured him when he was sleeping and he's just under the 75th percentile lengthwise aswell. Have you measured your little one?
Also my oldest was really chunky for the first 2 years of his life. He's now almost 10 and hasn't got any fat on him at all. If baby is happy I would not worry 🙏
