Has anyone taken their baby swimming so young? My little girl will be 7 weeks on Sunday and I want to take her swimming! I’ve bought her a 0-3 month swimming costume which fits her perfectly, but I’m just wondering if I also need to put her in some of those little swimmer nappy things? Thank you :)

You'll definitely need a swimmer nappy 😂 not sure the pool would be too pleased if you didn't.

I'm waiting until after the 8 week jabs, but yes you'll need swimming nappies. Baby swim classes usually take from 12 weeks I think, maybe check if your pool has any age limits.

We have our girl starting swimming lessons on 8th October she’ll be 6 weeks old then. Our local swimming company can take them from birth as they pool they use is a hydrotherapy one. I’d check with your local pool on what age they are allowed to go from as it will vary depending on the type of pool. Also they require a nappy to be worn then with one of the neoprene swim nappies/swim suits on top of that

I’m going swimming with mine after first vaccines. Deffo going with swimming nappies. My LO shat in the bath yesterday and it was horrific 🤣
I can’t believe I didn’t even think of the fact she would do a poo 🤣 thanks everyone I’ll be getting some swimming nappies haha
