Fell off back of sofa!

My little boy fell off the back of the sofa this morning onto the hard floor, and I feel like the worst Mum. Of course it had to be the highest part 🙈🥲 I turned my back for 2 seconds to make a drink and he was on the floor on his back. He cried for a few mins then was ok. No vomiting or any of the other symptoms that they say to look out for so far. He has gone to his Nans today as he usually would, as I’m working, and I’ve told her to keep a close eye on him.
I guess I’m just looking for reassurance from other mums as I know this happens a lot with toddlers! It’s not the first fall he’s had, but it’s certainly the worst!! 😭

He'll be fine. Toddlers are pretty resistant. My daughter jumps off the sofa for fun now..... she occasionally falls. She's also had a few eggs on her head, however as long as they don't seem bothered by it, you shouldn't be.

Oh love! I get your worrying. Not too long ago my daughter fell backwards off the sofa onto her head, held her weight on her neck and down on her front, I saw it all happen in like 3 seconds when I was literally couple meters away. 🥲 I called 111 to check what to do bc I was bawling my eyes out with her. She also had 3 metal clips on her head where she fell onto. Lady at 111 told me to feel for any lumps on her head, any bruising and any vomiting. Observe her for 48 hours as concussion signs show within that time. Nothing was worrying though she was fine. To me the fall looked absolutely horrendous but she was okay x

thank you so much! Bless your little girl - it’s so horrible when they fall. I’m glad all was fine! We have actually had similar of the falling backwards off the sofa too , landing with his neck crunched over 🙈 as my boy did this exact thing a few weeks ago! That was from less of a height but it still was a shock.
I will make sure to monitor him for 48 hours thank you x!

When my now 12 year old was 2 she went face first over the back of my cuddle chair (the curvy small sofas) and landed on her face. Her nose was virtually flat and I freaked out. Ran her to a&e but she was completely fine. It's now a funny story we tell. It happens to them all so try not to worry too much x

I feel for you, it breaks my heart to see them cry when they fall. My lg is a little tornado, literally on the go nonstop and despite being behind her 99% of the time, she still falls and bumps into things, sometimes badly but this comes with the territory now, toddlers fun. Try not to beat yourself up, it happens x

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?
