HELP!?! 2 year regression

My little one (turned 2 on the 2nd) has been a really good sleeper since around 6 months old. He would normally lay in his cot we would read him a story and leave the room with him still awake and he would drift off. he has now diceded he wont keep in his cot and kept climbing out. We have now taken the rails down and he will just run out and has a melt down everytime we leave the room. I am having to stay in the room for at least an hour an half before I can leave. He is also waking around 2am every night and wont settle unless we keep with him. Please tell me this isn't the new norm and give any tips on how to get him back on track

Another one here 🙋‍♀️. Looking through the posts on here over the last few weeks it definitely seems to be the 2 year regression. I'm just hoping it doesn't last too long...

Its soo hard after months of sleeping through now the stress of getting them to sleep the wake up in the night and early stars especially when back working. We are about 2 and a half weeks in now 😔

Yep. Between 5 and 6 has always been his up time but the bedtime debacle along with it is challenging...

It's the getting him to sleep for me. I proper struggle, moved him into a bed and that's what started it. 2 weeks in as well😭 they say it can last from 2-6 weeks. It's like having a baby again x

we are struggling with it all I have to sit on the end of his bed until he is asleep then slowly work my way out the room but he is waking up alot through the night now and seems to be the devil hour around 2.00am. It really is but worse as they are alot more mobile now 😔

I know, it's not like you just lie them down, rock them and wlak away. We have to try and catch them before they run down stairs then wrestle them back in. Just took be 1 and half hours to get him to sleep

I know and the heat is not helping either!! Does your little boy nap in his bed during the day? X

Yeah really well! Takes seconds to go to sleep during the day x

I’m sorry but does anyone else find it secretly satisfying when …

When you were the first of your friends to have kids and they low key fell out of your life, never supported you, and ghosted you a little and now they’re having their first pregnancy and they start reaching out for help and advice.

My friend just called crying because her parents called her fat at 25 weeks pregnant (she looks normal). She was obviously very upset and I let her know they were assholes and not to worry.
My parents did the same thing to me with my weight and non of my childless friends understood or gave a shit.

Unable to put breastfed baby down

My baby simply will not be put down anywhere. I literally can’t get anything done at home or even care for myself without somebody here helping. I can’t even go to the toilet. He is either sleeping my arms or awake crying .

I am sat on the sofa feeding him every 30 minutes. He falls asleep. I transfer and then awake again crying. Same viscous cycle. He won’t take a dummy. Does anybody have any advice 😭
I have a toddler that I also need to look after

I can still make breastmilk even years after giving birth. Is this common?

I have 1 child. I have not had any other pregnancies. And I can still lactate 2 and a half years later. He has been having whole milk since he was 1. But for whatever reason I can still make breast milk if I squeeze my breast. This is more so the case if its after I eat a lot. Is this common? I know I am not pregnant.

Bottles

My daughter is 7 months old - nearly 8 months. She still has a bottle every 3/4 hours (6oz) and she has 7oz for her bed time bottle. She still wakes once during the night for a feed to 🤷🏼‍♀️ she has breakfast and tea and then some fruit or yogurt or snack during the day, but she is still not massively interested in food yet - still very much draining her bottles. I’m not sure if this is normal or if I am doing the right thing 😫 she’s so different to my eldest who had dropped a bottle by now.

Braxton Hicks since yesterday.

I've had them for entire night last night. They eased down a bit during the day. They are back for a few hours now. My tummy goes square in shape when I have them, literally. They don't go more painful or more regular. Also much much more of lighting crotch today and I started to wobble. Baby dropped about two weeks ago. Im 37+2. Ideally I dont want her to come earlier so this post isn't for giving me hope of early labour. However, is it possible given contractions for pretty much 24 hours now? No signs of mucus plug or bloody show or even larger amount of discharge.
