I've had them for entire night last night. They eased down a bit during the day. They are back for a few hours now. My tummy goes square in shape when I have them, literally. They don't go more painful or more regular. Also much much more of lighting crotch today and I started to wobble. Baby dropped about two weeks ago. Im 37+2. Ideally I dont want her to come earlier so this post isn't for giving me hope of early labour. However, is it possible given contractions for pretty much 24 hours now? No signs of mucus plug or bloody show or even larger amount of discharge.

I’ve been having braxton hicks on and off for about 10 days now. Sometimes they are quite painful and I think this is the start of something, they then ease off and come to nothing. I’ve been thinking everyday I’m going to go into labour but I’m not 40 weeks exactly today and still nothing. 🙈😂

I've had Braxton hicks all day and night every day for about coming up to 2 weeks now but no other signs.
My first came at 37 weeks and I did wonder if my second would be any earlier but I'm now 38+4 and looking at a possible induction next week due to baby being small (although he's actually gone up to 10th centile this week)
Apparently Braxton hicks can be caused by an irritable uterus too, they're the same thing in the end but baby being so low can apparently trigger them but doesn't necessarily mean anything or cause any change to the cervix
