Any one else had this?

Lil man is 8m old and had a weight check with the hv a few days ago, he’s 11.4kg (25lbs) and is now above the 99th percentile line..
Since about 16w we’ve had to have home weighted every 4 weeks beige kept jumping percentiles.
This time the bc said that 1, we’ll have to go back in 2 weeks instead of 4, 2, she’ll have to refer lil man to the doctors who will most probably refer him to peds.
She said that she has no concerns about him, he’s proportionally perfect, developing at an okay rate (because he’s a heavy boy she said it’s okay if he’s not on the same level as other babies as he’s got a lot more to get moving) and he’s not over feeding or under feeding and he’s a happy baby all around.

I’m just curious if anyone has had the same. Or the same but it turned out to be something not so good

Not the same because I'm on the other end of the scale, my little boy is under the 0.4th centile. We have to get him weighed every two weeks, he was premature but it's been weekly or fortnightly since birth. Its stressful! He's perfectly proportioned and developing well, he's just a dinky little thing.
Sorry you're going through this!!

Hello, mine was always 98th and sometimes over 99th but we weren’t seen by HV until 11 months I think. And even then she said he was ok and wasn’t concerned 🤷‍♀️ I just don’t see why he needs to be weighed so often.. it must be quite stressful. I always weigh him just at home just out of interest.

my little one was at the 50th centile and has just kept jumping up centiles each time We’ve had to see the Health Visitor. The only reason we had to see the Health Visitor so often is because he kept going up. Now he’s above the 99th line from the 50th, She said they have to refer him

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
