My baby is 4 months on Sunday and she’s still in the carry cot. She’s too small for the straps of the seat unit and she’s still happy lying down looking up at us

Our baby is 17 weeks, we tried him in the seat unit the other day but he was still a bit small for it really and wobbled around a lot. Annoying as he’s getting too long for the bassinet!

We still use the carry cot, and she's 16 weeks this Sunday. However, we plan on flying away in October, and she'll be 5 months or just under, we plan on changing it to the seat. I'm going to buy a seat liner that may help with better positioning and comfort.

13 weeks, mine reclines even tho baby doesn’t have great head strength he loves it

I changed my boy from the bassinet to the seat at 14 weeks and he loves it! He hated the bassinet as he couldn’t see us and the space around him as hes really nosy ahha. My seat unit reclines and it can lay flat so
I tend to have him reclined when walking about and then lay flat when hes taking a nap x

Mines 4 months and still in the carry cot xx

My little one went in the seat at around 15 weeks and he loves it. I could barely get him in the bassinet without him screaming. The seat lays almost flat and he loves it, full of smiles when in it now x

12 weeks. Strong little boy with good head control. He hated the bassinet and likes to see out

We tried moving my LO (she’s 16 weeks) as she was getting crabby with the bassinet but we’ve got a bugaboo and turns out she’s still pretty small! Couldn’t get the straps low enough so she’s got to suck it up in the bassinet for a while longer!

Dummy

My baby has had a dummy since about 2 weeks old (now 5 months) and over the course of the last month we weaned her off it during the day only for naps and night (which was fine) and then 5 days took it completely away during the day.

The first day no dummy was fine, the second bit rougher. But now it feels impossible she just moans and cries all the time it takes ages for her to go down to sleep (she’s always been an amazing sleeper)

I thought it was meant to get better as time went on not worse. I’m at my wits end I dunno what to do.

Currently typing this as she screams uncontrollably in the car and I cry with her cos I can’t do anything.

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Is this normal?

My 12m old is really funny with kids going near him, he’s always been this way, but anytime family’s kids sit next to him or head his way he moans or cries and moves away. He also really observes them and is never really relaxed, always looking over his shoulder. Has anyone experienced this? (He’s starting nursery properly tomorrow so hoping this helps) but is this normal?

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

4 month sleep regression

Does anyone else feel like they’re back in the newborn trenches through the 4 month sleep regression ?? 😭😭 my boy turned 4 months yesterday and the past 3 nights he’s woken up every 20-40 minutes. He does manage to get back off to sleep after I give him his dummy. It’s so strange though because his daytime naps don’t seem to be affected? He has 2 x long naps a day (around 2 hours) and a couple 30-40 minutes here and there and seems fine during them, it’s just his night time sleep! I read it can last for 6 weeks, I pray it doesn’t because I am shattered 🤣🤣
