I would go to the hospital. It may be old blood from your last period but for me, it was an indication of a miscarriage so it’s always best to go get it checked out ❤️

My mum said to me she had this when she was pregnant every time she was “changing month”. It’s absolutely normal and nothing to worry about. The midwife also said to me that either brown or pink discharge is normal- red /fresh blood isn’t x

I’m more relieved now, I was Thinking that It may be Because today was supposed to have my second missed period So my body is not used to the changes

I’m glad to hear you are relieved! Try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy xx

I’d just monitor it. Like Maria said if it changes to red/fresh blood which for me it did, then go into the hospital. Sending all the positive vibes 🥰

Agreed! I had the same thing and I am 24 weeks now. Our bodies sometimes need to catch up and gets used to cycles that aren’t coming. Monitor for sure but it sounds like old blood. I spotted throughout my first trimester but it was due to a super tiny cyst that went away on its own (another common thing) best to just breathe and see the dr to ease your mind. All the best to you! ♥️

I had old blood, brown discharge off and on for maybe 6 weeks, between 1st & 2nd trimester, there was never any indication on bleeding on my scans and we just put it down to blood caught in my cervix. However I did go in to early pregnancy unit twice with it before my 12 week scan and once after to check so please do call up and go in, there's nothing like that reassurance and to check the blood isn't anything else. 🩷 I am now 34 weeks + 4 😊

sending positive vibes! Hope it goes amazingly! 😃

I bled quite a bit brown blood around that time and it’s old blood if it’s brown so don’t worry! Xx

I had this at around 9 weeks and went to the early pregnancy clinic. Was told it was a bit of old blood between my sac and uterus wall. They also told me it happens to a lot of people and to rest and take things easy as it normally ends up being reabsorbed by the body and a few days later it stopped and never had that again. Go and get checked anyway x

This happened to me 3 times during my first trimester. I went to the ER and there was nothing wrong

I had it from 6 weeks- 13 weeks and it was never a concern by my doctors. My daughter is 9 months old! Best of luck!!

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Homebirth?

I am thinking I want a homebirth (second baby) for a few different reasons but my husband is very against it, he is worried about things going wrong and we are a 30 minute drive from the hospital. Has anyone been in a similar position and what did you end up doing? Any advice? 🙏

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
