6 week checkup

Just called my doctors to book my 6 week appointment and they told me they don’t do it at 6 weeks they do it at 8 weeks so you can bring baby and get there appointment done at the same time? I said no it’s 6 weeks as iv been told by all midwives and health visitors and the 6 week appointment is supposed to be for ME to discuss how I’m feeling after birth , having a new baby etc and contraception and I would like to go to this alone and they told me no they only do it together ?? Never heard of that one before. Does anyone else’s doctors do this ?

Yes our doctors do now. Believe it’s due to lack of appointments. They bundle it all together

They bundle it together, have down since covid. You get jabs then the meeting generally. You discuss you as well as baby, it doesn’t just focus on baby. You can speak to the dr about anything you want as well as there will be time. My son got weighed etc then it was about me

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Has anyone ever had pain in the bone at the bottom of the lady area?

How I can only describe it is I feel like I have a fracture or the bone is broken right at the bottom of my vagina bone obviously don’t think it’s to the extent but that’s how it feels. I had it in my last pregnancy and the pain went few months postpartum now it’s back again with this pregnancy. These are the results that u e googled I think I may have the first one has anyone every had this or something similar

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?
