So I have a child in year 1 and my almost 11 month old at home with me and so he comes on all the school runs with me. However, his second nap is at the same time as pick up (3:10 he’s usually just waking up around 3:30-4pm). He doesn’t sleep in the buggy and even when he did last school year, he would wake as soon as at school and the nap would be max 10 mins in the buggy. Never been longer.
I’m trying to get my son to do football after school one night so at least that day I don’t pick him up until 4:30 but what about the other days?
His nap schedule is:
One around 9:15/9:30am (when we get home from drop off) until about 10:30/11am
Second is from around 2/2:30-3:10-30pm
He already goes to bed at 7/7:30… do you think I need to change the whole sleep schedule? My partner has to go to work early so he can’t help more than once a week when he does work from home and even so, I can’t leave baby with him on the days he’s at home because baby is breastfed and only wants to sleep on me

Get a baby carrier and have him sleep in that whilst you walk to school! My boy will sleep for ages in his carrier but will not sleep in a buggy or the car seat.

I'm in same situation i either wake baby up just before leave got school run at 2.50pm or i make sure put him in cot earlier to get the full nap in. Either way he seems fine x

That’s roughly how much my baby naps everyday at home and in bed. Maybe that’s all he needs?
