Anyone else? 35 weeks today

I’ve been getting quite intense pain on my upper right abdomen that extends round my side to the back - paracetamol wouldn’t touch it earlier and I had to leave work and come home and lie down on my left side which made it subside quite quickly. It then completely disappeared. Is this just pregnancy or a specific type of pregnancy pain? I had my BP and urine checked at midwife appointment Monday and all was ok, baby girl is head down. Being having this on/off and don’t know how I’ll do 3 more weeks of work if I have to keep lying down!

I have exactly the same pain, have done for around a month! Went to triage about it yesterday and all observations were fine but they are sending me for a gallbladder scan xx

oh flip! I hope you are ok 🙏🏼 does yours come and go too? X

Yep exactly the same, comes and go's all the time. Try and monitor it to see if it's after a meal as with gallstones the pain supposedly comes on about an hour after a meal. Obviously it might be nothing to do with the gallbladder but that's what they are checking me for. They originally thought it could be preacclampsia but all my other observations were normal like yourself xx

That’s a good point - though mine doesn’t necessarily come on after a meal. I could be standing making the dinner and it comes on so intense and I have to pause and lie down for it to pass then I can carry on and eat with no issues after 🤷🏻‍♀️ will keep an eye on it over the weekend thanks so much for the response xx

I have this to have it right now and its agony. I think its just because he's on my right side and he keeps putting his foot in my ribs squashing something causing the back pain. It literally takes my breath. Infact had the worst day so far with it today 🥴my back is also alot worse after having a meal x

Oh no 😓 think you should ring triage? My baby girl is definitely all at the front and movements are mostly to my left of my bellybutton which is why I don’t really understand this pain 🫠 xx

Did you ever find out what this is? I have had what sounds like the same for 3/4 weeks now (I’m 23 weeks), and they can’t work out what it is but it’s so disruptive

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
