Has anyone been told they have this? I got told (at 32+4) I am on the very “low end of the normal range” so dr wants me to come back next week and check again. Told me to chug water in the meantime to see if it’s dehydration related.
I do live in a super hot place but I really don’t think I am dehydrated? Chugging a ton of water just in case tho…. But has anyone been told they have this too?/did you fix it or what happened?

I was told that before when I was pregnant with my son and I it's made sure I was drinking my water and when I went back it was back to normal range. If you can't fix it tho they will deliver the baby (at least that's what I was told)

glad you could fix it!! I’ll be chugging water lol

I hope it works out for you ! Drink lots of water especially since you live in a hotter place they say when your pregnant it's easier to get dehydrated without knowing I just had to have 2 iv bags because I was so dehydrated and didn't even realize because I thought I was drinking enough water , I live in Vegas so it's pretty hot here lol .

yes, my fluids measured 6.2 at 32 weeks (normal range is 5-25) which had my midwife concerned. at 34 weeks they had increased to 7.4! i’m now 36+4 and haven’t had another scan to see how my fluids are doing so i have no idea if they’ve continued to increase or not.

did you try to drink a lot of water before having a recheck?

i was already drinking a lot of water (1+ gallon a day bc it’s hot in texas 🥵) so i didn’t feel like i could drink any more than i already was. but i did cut back on going to the gym to lift. before i was going 3-4 times a week and i dropped to 0-2 times a week, so that maybe helped me stay more hydrated and helped with the fluids!

this is helpful thank you! I haven’t been feeling up to workouts the past few days anyways 😅

Coconut water! It works like magic. My cousin was literally supposed to be induced because of how low her fluid was, she chugged nothing but coconut water, and by the time they came back to do the reassessment she was perfectly fine.

amazing because my husband just bought a bunch for me on his Costco haul and I already drank one, thank you!

UPDATE on this is turns out I had a KNOT IN MY CORD causing low fluid, so she had to be born right at 36 weeks!!

Oh wow ! That's scary ! Glad you guys are ok ! And congratulations on bringing your little lady into the world 💜
