My little guy just turned 8 months on the 3rd and loves to slap us everywhere. Face, chest, stomach, arms, etc. Anyone else have this problem and how do you get them to understand no?

Yes and I have a permanent scar on my right cornea because of her slapping my eye 🙃🙃. I try to redirect because I know they don't really know what they're doing but man it hurts
Ouch. I'm sorry. You got that right it hurts like heck. He slapped me on my csection scar this morning and omg it hadn't hurt like before. He also loves to slap himself in the face.

Yes, same!!! Slapping, hair pulling, kicking, the whole nine. We use a strong no and use hand over hand to teach soft touch

Yes slapping and kicking

My baby pulls on me when she’s hungry and smacks her arm around when she’s tired. She also slaps everything because she’s learning that it makes a noise. We have mainly carpet but I always know where she is because she bangs on the wood floor in the dining room and hits the tv stand in the living room. I think that she thinks it funny because of the noise it makes. She has a pretty good idea of the word “no” and my serious face so when she’s just being playful, I let her be, but if she’s being too aggressive, I remove her from her current location and tell her “no, that’s not kind.”

Yes. My son is literally beating me up. Or pulling my hair. Lol.

Yes and she’s 7 month. It can be a light slap to a really hard punch into the face.

Yes, slapping, kicking, throwing herself back, head butting me, pulling my hair, biting me, yanking my clothes, yelling at me lol. She's a straight up bully lol
