Anyone on their 2nd pregnancy and feel like a balloon already? I think I’ve gained 3+ pounds and am already showing.

Yep - though I don’t know how much of this I should be attributing to IVF meds. My first was natural. I started this pregnancy off 3 lbs heavier than I was with my first, but the bloat makes me look like I’m already 12 weeks pregnant.

Yes! Im 9 weeks already feeling like a balloon. Ive been eating nonstop and gained good 5pnds or so

This is my first but I've gained about 5 pounds too and only 9 weeks. I thinks it's because I never used to drink anything but water and now I need a variety of things.

So glad I’m not alone! First time I definitely started in better shape but didn’t expect to get so bloated and round so soon! Definitely a struggle and now that the morning sickness is gone all I wanna do is eat 😂

Better to gain weight than to lose it! Totally normal to have your clothes fit more snug and to notice your body changing. Just remember that throughout your pregnancy, you’re not just gaining fat. Water, blood, placenta, baby, etc all cause weight gain. I would also just be mindful about putting numbers on here. There can be a lot of comparison with weight, and everyone needs to gain a different amount. So while you may have gained 3+, someone else could already be at 10+, which could be necessary for them, but using words like “balloon” or “huge” could make someone else more uncomfortable in their body. And pregnancy is already uncomfortable enough! Body positivity will help you and others 🤗

Very true. And we all carry weight differently so 3 lbs in one could look like more than more on someone else. Thanks for that honestly ❤️
Motherhood is so hard on your body during and post pregnancy it’s hard to stay positive! @Ericha

I understand completely!! Glad that reached you well. Btw, I saw you have a little girl. If you’re into body positive parenting and whatnot, I highly recommend The Full Bloom podcast! I honestly found it helpful for my own mindset too.

Hard is an understatement. I literally feel like I'm watching myself from outside my body. Totally spaced out and lacking motivation for anything. I'm showering less and wish I could die my hair. Stopped getting my nails done because thats supposed to be bad. Have put makeup on, maybe 4 times in 9 weeks. A total loss of identity. We sacrifice a whole lot for these little ones!

Yeeeees!! Pregnant with #2 and I feel SO DAMN PREGNANT! I’m bloated and hungry all the time on top of all day and night “morning” sickness. I feel so full all the time and it’s driving me bonkers!

I'm sure it's bloat but I'm not even 9 weeks and I'm huge. My mother told me the other day I look 4 months and that this baby is gonna be 14 lbs at this rate lol
