Hi there - looking for advice 🙏🏼
I started my baby as strictly formula fed and I’m working backwards to get my milk supply up as it’s been a major regret. He’s four weeks old tomorrow. My ultimate goal would be him latching every feed with either a few pumped or formula bottles at night for my husband to help.
Right now he’s probably 1/3 pumped milk and 2/3 formula as I try and keep working on my supply. I’m only producing about .5- max 2 oz each pumping session.
We’ve been seeing a lactation consultant and he can finally latch (yay). However, within two minutes he will be 1000% asleep and the only thing that wakes him up is a bottle of pumped or formula.
I change his diaper before, take off his clothes, wiggle him around- I mean.. NOTHING will get him to wake up and keep going unless a bottle comes in.
Any tips? 😭🙏🏼

Maybe try giving him half a bottle then topping up with milk. He may get used to it that way? x
