Breastfeeding moms how are you doing it? I constantly wake up in a pool of breast milk. Not sure what to wear or do to prevent this

Breast pads! I go through so many. Change them every 2-3 hours x
Thanks I’ve been using breast pads but always soak right through in such a short time :( maybe I don’t have a good brand.

I sometimes sleep with collection shells on, it's not very comfy but at least you're also storing milk without effort at the same time 😀

My boobs seem to come on like taps every time my baby wakes up! I catch the let down from the boob I’m not feeding with in a haakaa pump or muslin. My midwife said this leakage gradually stops happening with time.

I use tesco own brand breast pads if that helps. I've just woken up having leaked through but it's because my baby has slept for 6 hours through thr night just now!

It’s definitely worth getting some more expensive pads they do last longer x

Also cheap pads can feel like cardboard on your nips! Medela ones are quite soft.

I have tried so many different breast pads and I’ve leaked through all of them. The best I’ve found so far are the Tommee Tippee ones, however I have to layer 3 pads on each side of my bra and change three times a day, so can get expensive. At the moment I’m using a size 2 nappy on each side of my bra, and I change them twice a day. Works wonders.

I use lansinoh reusable ones - so, so much more comfortable than disposable ones too. I hate wearing a bra in bed but for now it feels like a necessity ☹️
