Rolling in the cot

Hi everyone! My baby is 4 and half months and was sleeping through in his next to me, however he’s now in his big cot, in our room, as he is getting to long for the next to me but since he’s moved into the big cot he has started to roll onto his front and look about. He does this as soon as you put him on the floor throughout the day and now he is in his bigger cot and has lots of room he is doing the same when he’s in it. This is waking him up as well as he is getting his legs between the cot bars etc.

Has anyone had anything similar? I know you can’t put anything in his cot with safe sleeping guidelines but i’m just unsure what we do.

He’s so wriggly, constantly wanting to on the go and looking out and now it seems even more so in his bed 🤣🤣

So ours learnt how to roll the other day and will NOT STOP DOING IT. but then gets frustrated when he's on his tummy like I put him there 😂😂 he did it in his next to me on the first night he learnt how to, and wouldn't stop. I googled it and it says they want to keep doing it until they've perfected it. He has now stopped doing it in his next to me, unless he is fully awake so finally has stopped doing it in his sleep. I think its a waiting game to be honest with you x

hahahah thanks so much!!! I’m hoping that now it’s been a few days and he’s getting good it may stop soon then 🤞🏼🤣 xx

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I didn't sleep the first night because I was so scared he was gonna get stuck because of how small his next to me is and how big he is 😂xx

Im using a sleepbag. It doesn't prevent rolling but it helps with being stuck in the bars )

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Circumcision, please help

I know it can be a really sensitive topic, but I feel really underinformed about whether I should choose to circumcise or not if we end up having a boy.
For context: we are very non-religious, but I worry about the stigma of being non-circumcised when he would start to get interested in dating, navigating cleaning it and the risk of infection especially as he gets older and navigating potty training at daycare and stuff. I also worry about the increased risk of penile cancer. But then I also hate the thought of making my baby go through a major surgery unnecessarily and would prefer for them to make the choice when they are older if they choose to get circumcised.

How did you make your choice? Does anyone regret their choice?

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x
