Swelling

Hey momma’s/momma’s to be.

Im 27 weeks today and experiencing swelling of the feet,ankles and legs, my hands also feel sore when i try to grip anything, i can’t squeeze my hand really tight as it hurts to do. Midwife said aslong as it goes down it should be ok, but the moment i wake up my feet and ankles are swollen and then they get worse throughout the day and by night time they are like balloons. They don’t go down when i rest them. Should i be speaking to my midwife again?

I would say so yeah, I’m 25w+5d, atm nearly 26 weeks, and I think I’m getting swollen feet but I’m not exactly sure. I would deffo speak with my midwife again xx

Yeh I’m the same. I’m at midwife next week and going to ask. The heat and being on feet at work probably doesn’t help my case. I’m 25+ 3 x

If it's painful, I'd go to them again. See if you can increase you water intake l, it usually helps with the swelling.

I would give them a call or try to book an appointment with your GP.

This heat is giving me cankles. Going to speak to my midwife at my next appointment in 2 weeks x

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
