Sharp pain one side

Hi, I’m 5 days post emergency c section and today I’ve got a sharp pain on one side of my stomach, when I move at all. The pain overall was getting better yesterday but today seems quite a bit worse. The dressing is still on. Is this normal?

I had the same pain. It’s completely normal, it’s just due to the muscle healing after being cut. Just make sure you take it easy. And take pain relief when needed!

how long were you in hospital for? Normally it’s recommended the dressing stay on for 10-14 days

I was in hospital for two days after, they said the midwife will remove the dressing on day 5 when they come to my house, which is today. I just can’t believe how much more sore it’s gone today!

Day 5 they remove dressing. I had left sided pain. In fact the left side is still more sensitive than the right

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
