Water break/ leak??

Alrighty girls, So since last night I have not been able to get dry in my southern regions. It’s not like discharge but it’s not like I feel like I’m peeing myself. Could my water be leaking and just not fully broke? My stomach doesn’t look like it’s dropped and I don’t have any contractions. I’m 38 weeks today.

Lie down for a while and stand up, see if you're undies are wet. For me, I only released the fluid when I was on the toilet...so I had to almost convince L&D that I had broken my water. Interestingly, during the delivery, I learned that I had only a high rupture causing the leaking. When I was pushing, the bag of waters was intact and they then did a full rupture. Good luck!

Discharge would can be super watery! Just had this happened yesterday where I couldn’t figure out it was my water broken or discharge or pee. It ended up being my discharge! There really isn’t anyway to know unless you go in and get checked

Call and let your doc and ask or let them know. I had somewhat the same situation. I was 38 weeks and woke up leaked with no pain or contractions. Went all morning and afternoon leaking. Gave birth to my daughter same night

@Ramona did you end up getting an induction at some point between water breaking and birth? Or when did you finally start to feel the contractions?

@Sarah I had no interventions during birth. I started feeling contractions very mildly at noon. Contractions increased in pain when arriving at the hospital at 3:00.
