I’m 35 weeks and had high ketones in my last urinalysis (25 ketones). Nurse said this can indicate I need to drink more water. I haven’t felt dehydrated but I haven’t been on top of my water intake- many days it’s probably less than 60oz. I haven’t exactly been eating a lot of hydrating foods either. Now I feel so guilty about the impact this may have on my child. Anyone else done this too?

I’m bad at water intake too, I try my best but I’m a small person as it is and sometimes it makes me feel bloated and uncomfortable drinking so much. I do eat a lot of hydrating fruits and such so I’m hoping that contributes

I've always been chronically dehydrated. I just never really think to drink 🤷♀️ Some days I barely get through my 40oz cup but I do keep it with me at all times so I can see it and remember to take a sip and I do eat alot of fruit. Don't feel bad, just do your best
just clarifying you do or don’t eat a lot of fruit?

sameee

same, very hard to continue drinking water. Put some mayo in it for some flavor. I’ll tell you this much, because of the medication that I’m on I have to do non-stress test for the baby two times a week and if I don’t drink water, his heart rate drops and I’m there for a very long time and they have to give me an IV and then his heart rate picks right up so the importance of water I now understand. I just drink a lot of tea Coffee in the morning and water with mio in it.

Sorry, yes, I meant to say I DO eat a lot of fruit 😋
