I’ve had a few high blood pressure readings so now I’m getting checked weekly and going for an ultrasound to check babies size and her fluids.
My doctor said if it remains high we may be looking at induction.
I’m terrified of being induced because I feel like it’s rushing your body to do something it will do when it’s ready, but I also feel a part of me that hopes I do because I am so ready to meet my little girl.
I’m feeling conflicted lol, am I wrong for this?

I’m having the same issues! 32 weeks and having to go in 2 times a week to be checked/monitored. They are drawing blood every week and I have to sit there for them to get 4 blood pressure readings. They told me I’m looking at induction too and should have news about it today.
I’m not due til Nov 4 but they are saying they will induce me anytime between Oct 14-20. 😳🫠

I don't have all the answers, but I understand how you feel! Induction is so bad. I haven't personally experienced it, but everyone I talk to says it's the worst thing ever and avoid it at all costs.
Doctors suck and don't like to find real solutions (honestly it ticks me off so bad that's why I have a midwife not a dr). But you could try asking what you can do naturally to help avoid needing to be artificially induced.
Maybe you can do some natural things to help bring your bp down. Or wait until you can try naturally inducing labor. Express that it's important to you that you have a natural labor and want to do whatever you can to avoid being induced. He should respect that and work with that. again, drs suck and like to scare us into what they want cuz "they know best" f that no they don't lol. But he may give push back because of that. But stand firm on whats important to you. He should be willing to try natural things to actually regulate the blood pressure issue before jumping to a fake solution.
I actually do have a team of midwives and not a doctor that is my fault lol. They are amazing and always hear me out so I’m sure if I tell them I would rather not do induction they would hear me out

Even if you do end up going the induction route, you SHOULD be trying to find ways to manage your blood pressure in the mean time, so there's no reason he shouldn't be able to help give advice for that. Even if he's a stubborn doctor stuck in his way of doing things lol. He's supposed to be there to help you and baby be healthy, and help you how you want to be helped.
There are ways to manage it and bring it down, it's not like once you have high blood pressure it's all over lol. Even so you could very likely be fine to go through with it even if you have high BP, and it's **entirely** your choice. Doctors can only give advice, they can't force anything on you. It's your body and your baby. So do what you know is best for you, a doctor can't tell you that only you can. Do some research and see what your options are, find some people who have had the same experience and wanted to avoid induction.

My friend was induced and she had a great delivery. Goodluck to you 💕
