Am I having contractions?
Hi so, I’m 38+3 today, I know for a fact I’m not in labour, I’m just wondering if maybe I’m in early labour as I know you can be for a week or so, I keep getting period like cramps on and off irregularly and some of them are very quick pains and then they go again, are these contractions? But just not regular ones? I don’t think they’re braxton hicks though as they don’t feel like them, they’re kind of painful and uncomfortable.

I think I'm having the same. I was 2-3cm at my first check on Tuesday so idk 🤷♀️ the main difference is I feel pain before my stomach hardens, rather than my stomach hardening causing discomfort/pain.
Its also more painful than braxton hicks usually are.
yeha see I haven’t had a check yet so I have no idea if I’m dialated or not but hopfully I am x
Fingers crossed! I'm due another check/sweep in the morning now so I'll let you know if this has actually been progressing me any!
My cervix has gone from high and back to centered though which is a positive. They just didn't tell me how dilated I am last time xx
