Bobbie Formula - your experiences?

I had to give in and combo feed because my BM dropped suddenly around the 4th week mark. I wasn't comfortable with the palm oil/soy in most formulas so I decided on Bobbie. With the regular one my baby was spitting up (normal amounts) so I switched to the Gentle one. Bobbie is expensive and I was hoping I could try before I commit but unfortunately that option doesn't exist! My baby girl spits up just as much but she seems a bit irritated.

What have your experiences been with Bobbie?

I was using earth Best organic sensitive formula , the purple one . I knew it had palm oil in it but its waaay better then most of them . But I wanted to try Bobbie , and … nope. My baby didn’t enjoy it at all … she was super fussy and I still gave it a go for 5 days … she still wasn’t having it . So I had to switch back and once I did … she wasn’t fussy or crying anymore 🙌🏼 plus there is reviews about spit ups and the formula not working for some baby’s . I wasted $80 on two cans for nothing there just sitting there on full and the other more then half full 🥲🥲 and spend another amount on her fav formula 🙃🙌🏼.

I haven’t tried it with my July babe but my first kiddo didn’t do well on it either. I’ve been using baby’s only gentle which is actually owned by Bobbie. It’s way more affordable and he seems to be doing really well on it. We’ve already gone through several cans with no digestion issues

I found the recommended scoop dosage to make a really thick formula so I reduced the powder a bit and diluted it every so slightly but that isn't helping either.

Thank you. I should definitely bring this up with her pediatrician!

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?
