My daughter is 18 months old and only weights 8,7kg. She is really struggling to put weight on, so active and eats fine now (normal food and breastmilk too but slowly starting to stop breasfeeding) She was born on 50th centile and dropped to 9th and been following it
I mentioned this last year November to my HV when she was 7,4kg at 9 months but she said not to worry as she is fine for her height and we are also parents both small.
Could you share your babies weight at that age? I am adding calories to her every meal (heavy creams, butter, avocado oil etc) and giving her lots of ice cream and puddings too to get her weight.

My little guy moves between the 25th and 50th this morning he was 11.1 kg. His weight gain has slowed but like you he gets full fats, as much protein I can get in him. I stopped breast feeding when he was 8 months. He is CMPA and I was struggling as I had to go dairy free. He has a prescription formula that I still give him and soya milk. I am always getting comments about how small he is. But he is a mighty little thing and misses nothing. I can't get him to stop he plays hard! You are doing what you can but really press your GP if you think something is wrong
He is also 18 months
Thanks for sharing your experience. My daughter actually dropped weight, she was 8.7kg in spring but started teething badly she would not eat anything apart from breastmilk. I will see if I can get appointment to check what they think if it is anything to worry about

Sometimes it is nice to have some proper reassurance. I am so sensitive when people comment on my tiny guy. "Sorry he is average and I don't have a chunker"

Mine 19 mo daughter 9.2 kg so small also as my 3mo son already 6.6kg my 16 Yr old was same as my daughter and now 11stone and 6ft2 so I wouldnt worry

My 18 month old is 8.4kg and is on the lowest percentile. Been seen by the dietitian since his first birthday and has been given high calorie milk but I'm not concerned. We're petite people and that's ok!
