Hiya. Just got the above breast pump. I’m not sure I’ve got the right flange size yet, and I’m actually struggling to see through it to see what my nipple is doing!
But the flange isn’t sitting flush to my breast, barely feeling any suction and is leaking out the bottom. I’ve tried 2 different bras now, incase it wasn’t sitting well because of that but not sure what’s else I can do? are my boobs just an awkward shape?
Thanks

I’ve got the same pumps and they leaked the first time I used them. Turns out I didn’t close the double silicone correctly.
I also had trouble knowing if my nipple was in the middle, but you’ll get used to that.
As for no suction, make sure the diaphragm is correctly aligned with the circle in the milk collector and the pump itself is well attached (pushed down).

yeah it’s hard to know where your nipple sits isn’t it! Mine was a bit condensated from the steriliser still so i couldn’t actually see into it. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to feel but it was slightly uncomfortable I guess, but wouldn’t say painful.
Will double check I put it together ok thank you!

I’ve read somewhere that if you bend forwards and let your breasts fall down it’s slightly easier to aim. And if you turn the pump on while in this position it helps keep suction as gravity is helping.
And don’t forget to put some lubricant (like coconut oil) on your nipple/flange to help with friction so your nipples aren’t sore 🙂

thank you, will try it! Xx

I had this problem all the time with the Bella baby pumps they weren’t doing anything sometimes and was always leaking in my bra and top so ended up buying new pumps the kissbobo ones and haven’t had a problem with these whatsoever so I think it was the pumps tbh xx
