Blood clot

Had a scan at 13+3 and baby looks to be growing on track, healthy development. NIPT results within the next week or so. But they also found a blood clot which is presumably from the bleeding I had at 10 and 11 weeks… Anyone had a similar blood clot or subchorionic hematoma?

They found one in my 8 week dating scan! I asked if I need to do anything different or avoid any activities and they said this is very common and often resolves on its own. They put me at low risk and said they would monitor it. Have they mentioned if this was a small one of no concern as well?

They did say the same about it being relatively common! Mine is right above my cervix which is a little concerning, but they mostly said to avoid penetrative sex, heavy exercise/lifting, etc. They said they’ll check it again at the 20 week anatomy scan so we shall see!

I had a subchorionic hematoma at 12 weeks and the bleeding resolved itself around 16 weeks. Boy was that a scare 😅

I had a hematoma that was picked up at my 8wks scan, I was told to avoid heavy exercises and sex. It eventually passed out as bleeding at 10 weeks - it was hell of a scare but thankfully it was long gone when I had my 12 weeks scan

Yeah, I’m still occasionally bleeding which makes me so nervous every time!

Same with avoiding sex and heavy exercise! Hopefully it resolves on its own 🥲🥺

I’ll keep fingers crossed for you it resolves on its own cause the bleeding can cause unnecessary stress. Have you been booked in for follow-up scans?

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Would you bring 9 week old to a family party of 35+ people?

These are also people who will want to pass the baby around and get a turn to hold him. He just got his 2 month shots two days ago

Exercise 6 weeks after c section

What movement did people start to introduce? I won’t do anything too vigorous until I’ve seen the pelvic physio as I don’t want to compromise anything that may have been extremely weakened through pregnancy! But just wondering what types of classes/movement people started off with?

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲
