Yes it’s normal. Periods often don’t return until baby stops breastfeeding in the night or until they fully stop

I got mine yesterday, and I tbh I'm grieving it a bit. I've been breastfeeding a bit less as I've gone back to work, and maybe that's related. It felt like the end of an era because it literally coincided with starting nursery, working (even though happy to), and baby has his first cold. I feel like the transition period and fresh maternity has passed. Life had paused, and my period was a representation of it, and the new normal has arrived all of a sudden.

the way you just typed this got my imagination going…. It truly does represent the season you are in, things that us mama’s go though that you can not example to other people or else it just sounds strange.

This truly has given me a different perspective

I was ebf and mine came back at 9 weeks . Different for everyone but as long as your breastfeeding there’s no worries about it not coming back! Xx
