7 weeks still struggling

Baby boy is 7 weeks old, we had a rocky start in and out of hospital for me and baby, I had a C-section and PPH then readmitted again.

I have a bit of anxiety around leaving the house some people understand and others make it feel abnormal… any tips, thoughts advice?

Are you breastfeeding or formula feeding? I formula feed so make sure I know where there is a cafe I can sit / toilet I can get to if she needs a change wherever I go! That helps. Although I'm very used to changing in her pram now on the go 😂. Plus I just think babies cry and anyone who doesn't understand needs to mind their own business 😂 you can only do your best! Have you tried baby groups? The ones I've been to are great and all mums totally get babies have their own schedule and anything can happen which massively settles me. They are a great place to start if you're worried :) don't feel abnormal, you'll get there! It isn't easy xxx

This was me!! I’m 9 weeks PP, had a c section and was in hospital for 5 days baby went to SCBU and I was so anxious going out in public! I started going out with mum friends that really helped and then still haven’t been out on my own yet, but will get there at some point! Message if you like ☺️

I’ve been to restaurants, pubs, stayed over at hotels with my partner and baby but when it comes to taking her out on my own I freeze! The weather is cooler next week so I’m going to start with taking her on a little walk round the block or to the shops a couple times and once that’s built up go from there. I’ve been made to feel like I should be getting out with her by a few people now, but also we will all get there in our own times.

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Ms. Aura Alyse is here 👑🌈🫶🏽

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?

Thanks
