Hey mamas,
Does anyone have suggestions and tips they’d be willing to share for how you encouraged and taught your bubs to get into the sitting position by themselves AND to pull themselves up? My little one still hasn’t gotten these two down. I’ve tried helping him get into the side sitting position. For climbing/pulling up, we have those big blocks and he is able to climb up them via the triangular ramp block and he can get half his body up on the regular blocks but has no interest in climbing them further. He also doesn’t have any interest in pulling himself up in the crib or in his playpen. We have those grab rings hanging in the playpen as well.
Any tips would be appreciated! He’s 11 months now (born at 37 weeks). I get many babies just go at their own pace, but sometimes I worry.

I did the same thing Haley did. For crawling and walking too!

Thank you!!

It came up as a reel on instagram for me but basically every time you pick them up from lying down roll them onto their side and then glide them up to sitting. It didn’t take long for him to do it himself after that. I don’t know about pulling to stand but there’s also no need to rush.
