3rd trimester

Does anyone know when the 3rd trimester actually begins? My badgernotes app is saying 24 weeks but a lot of other sources say 28, some say 26. Nhs website says 28 for England but is the 24 a Scotland thing or just badgernotes?

Made me curious now. I always thought it was at 28 weeks

I thought it was the start of week 27 🤷🏻‍♀️

28 weeks as far as I know- but that on lots of apps etc is inclusive of any days after you turn 27 weeks.
E.g if 27+2 you’re third trimester because you’ve completed 27 full weeks and are 2 days into your 28th week.
I haven’t seen it as early as 24w anywhere 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a book here that says 25, but I always thought it was 26 between its 39/3? So confusing! I’m taking 6 months pregnant as 24 weeks are you?

@CeeCee I don't know I seen somewhere say 6 months is from 23 weeks. Just to complicate it even more lol

I wonder how they decide which months are 4 weeks and which are 5 lol

I think they are now saying that 1st trimester is up until 12 weeks rather than 14 or 15 as the NHS stuff says because newer research shows that the risk is lowered by 12 so that would mean 2nd trimester would come forward too. There seems to be differences everywhere but I've also seen 24 weeks

I think it's 26weeks the 3rd trimester

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
