Had a rough night so went to sleep immediately after feeding my one month old at about 9ish (she's swaddled and sleeping in our next to me cot).
I've just woken up to go toilet and realised she hasn't waken since for a feed. It's been 4.5 hours, should I wake her or let her sleep?
She's exclusively breastfed and my husband changed her nappy an hour ago and she was fine to let him without waking or fussing.
Should I wake her now or let her sleep and wake up herself?
TIA xx

As it’s hot I’d wake to get fluid in
we have our AC on in our room so it's nice and cold. It's now been 5hrs 20mins, I've picked her up from the cot still swaddled and she's still so sound asleep. Part of me wants her to go longer during night sleeps (as long as it's safe to do so of course) and part of me wants to wake and feed.
I've been awake the past hour eyeing on her anyways and I'm dying to go back to sleep!
Think I might just wake her now... my breasts are full! 🤪

Sometimes my little one does this, I pick her up still asleep and rub my nipple or the bottle on her lip and she will wake up just enough to feed and them go back to sleep straight away, I'd say try a feed as they're still so little and metabolise milk so quickly and we don't want dehydration xx
was just about to come on and update that I managed to "dream feed" her without waking... phew! Off-loaded both breasts which makes it much more comfortable for me to go back to bed. She's all swaddled and back in the cot now. Thanks again! 😘

Brilliant! Glad to hear you managed to keep her asleep, enjoy getting some good sleep yourself!! Xx
