Hey all,
Myself and my partner have 2 children already when we found out we were pregnant. He didn't want us to have the baby however I felt I couldn't go through with a termination as I wouldn't forgive myself and I wanted the baby. She is now here and I am completely besotted with her however my partner regularly comments on how he only wanted 2 children and says his other 2 are his princesses and completely doesn't include our new baby. He actually said the other day he has tried but he doesn't want her. To add to this I don't feel he has tried, every time I pass her to him so i can do something he calls me a baby pusher or rolls his eyes. I do absolutely everything for her. He is not interested. I can't bare to see him treating her this way and wonder if it will continue as she grows up? I guess I hoped he would change his mind when she is here but it seems like he is possibly just trying to prove a point. I don't know. It's obviously affecting our relationship and I really have no idea what to do. I tried to talk to his mum about it but she just stirred the pot to be honest so I don't feel like I can trust her anymore. Has anyone been through this or know someone that has, any advice. I'm in dispare

Sorry you going through that but essentially it sounds like your forcing a situation on him . He was clear about his wants and intentions . However you felt like you could change that .
I would say try therapy if he is open to it . If not you have to make a decision for you and baby —- you cannot change anyone’s mind

That’s fucked up, I couldn’t bare to even see nothing like that. Who gives af what he wants, he wanted that sex an that nut that created her right? Oh okay sounds like he wanted it! Don’t think I’d want my partner if he didn’t want OUR baby

I’m so sorry, that’s awful.
How old are your other children? It can’t be normal for them to see their dad reject their little sister every day. I’d be concerned it will start to affect their behaviour towards the baby.
I think he needs help because you cannot raise your children singling one out as the unloved sibling.

That is fucked up and I'm so sorry you dont have the support you need at home. It is your body and your choice, your child is here and you both deserve love.
All relationships go through hard times. Sometimes it can be hard to know what is normal and what isn't so please call 1800737732 to speak to someone when he is not around.

I'm sorry that you are having to go through this, especially with 2 other children. It sounds really tough. Honestly I would see if you guys can get counselling/therapy,, but if that is not working after a few months then personally I wouldn't stay in the situation. I understand that he didn't want the baby, however, he made the baby and there is a responsibility. You made the decision because it is your body and you have the right to, but it does mean that you end up bearing the consequences.
No child should have to stay somewhere that they are unloved and unwanted because as said before, the other children will start to treat her differently and it will affect her in the long term. I hope you can get some help, and things can change soon!

I'm so sorry you're in this situation, it must be very hard.
Unlike some other people, I don't think you forced a situation upon him at all! You both had sex and we all know what can happen when we do.
Yes, you hoped he changed his mind which is normal.
His behaviour can't be good for your mental health and for your other children to see. Because even if they're small they'll notice something is going on.
I really hope he changes. As people said therapy might be the way forward. If not, I would see if I could leave for the sake of my child.
I would also tell him the affects his behaviour has on all 3 of your kids.

I agree with the above comments, it won't be good for your other children to see this and they may start modelling the behaviour which will make the little one an outcast. And it's not fair for them to have to be somewhere they are unloved.
This is his problem, people have "accidents" all the time but they still love their children, and in my opinion there's something wrong with him mentally if he can just see this tiny defenseless part of him and turn his nose up. He needs therapy to understand why he is this awful towards this small child, I'm so sorry you're going through this ☹️

How devastating for you and your poor baby. She deserves a dad who loves and adores her. His behaviour is frankly disgusting.
If he didn’t want another child, he should have taken measures to ensure it did not happen.
People saying you forced it upon him is completely unfair. I imagine if you posted that you had an abortion because he forced you to, people would say how wrong he was for making you do that. What we’re you to do, have an abortion simply because he didn’t fancy another child!?
He needs to grow the f up and realise he created this life and needs to be responsible for it.
It’s up to you if you want to try therapy with him, but if he isn’t prepared to even try, I’d be out of there so damn quick.
You deserve better, your other children shouldn’t be seeing their dad treat their sister this way. More importantly, your baby deserves so much more.
Remember, one happy parent is so much healthier than two unhappy ones.

He doesn't know where babies come from? He doesn't get to pick and choose. Wth is this? Drop his pathetic ass like loose change, mama. 🤨😒
