How early can contractions start?
I think I got one just now- at 35+4 and I don’t know if it was or not!

Quite possibly braxton hicks, like practice contractions. If they become regular or more painful contact your midwife
thank you hunny! Can braxtons be painful?
On their own xx

Yeah, like a sudden tightening across your tummy. Tummy will go hard as well x

The way my body works is that Braxton Hicks are tightenings in my belly which are irregular, don’t really hurt (just uncomfortable) and they go away with activity. Contractions don’t go away with activity, but remain there.. they start irregular and are a bit more painful (not just making me uncomfortable) and then becoming regular, shorter in nature and something I have to breath through after a while. Contractions start in my pelvic and feel more like a pressure built up.
I hope this helps you, but it could obviously feel different for you.
By the way. Contractions can absolutely start at 35weeks. I gave birth this week at 35+4.
