So we lost our baby at 10/11 weeks, and EPU confirmed that it was a miscarriage. EPU was able to extract fetus and put me on antibiotics to ward off any potential infections.
So we haven't told family about the miscarriage. Family didn't even know we were pregnant.
It's my first time experiencing the aftermath, and I find myself sharing a lot of what is happening with my body with my husband as there isn't anyone else to talk about this with. For example, this morning, we were moving around some furniture, and I started experiencing a little cramping. I wasn't aware that that was placenta tissue passing through my system.
I shared this with my husband and walked him through the different shades of colour of bleeding I've been observing. He immediately lost his appetite and has retired to his office.
Am I sharing too much with him? Am I potentially causing trauma for him? Am I doing anything wrong by talking about what I'm experiencing post miscarriage?

Absolutely not! You are a team, you both made the Baby so you both need to experience the miscarriage. I shared everything that was happening with my husband. You can't bottle it up and go through that alone.
I was in the same position and had to tell family what happened when they didn't even know we were pregnant. And even though I had them for support, my husband was the only one going through it with me so I had to tell him everything so he knew exactly what I was going through.
@Sammy, thanks for sharing your experience.
I think my husband is really trying to remain open-minded and open to what we are going through (even though I'm the one going through the main physical elements of this journey).
I'm due for tests with the NHS in two weeks, and we said that we will probably inform family about everything once we have a clearer view of test results.
So yeah, for now, it's just him, myself, and Peanut members who know what's going on.
I was honestly feeling like what I was sharing with him was really heavy stuff, but in the same breath, it's also heavy for me cause I'm experiencing all of this for the first time, too.
