Bicornuate uterus

Hi all, 23 weeks! Has anybody else been diagnosed with a bicornuate uterus? If so are you under consultant care or have much awareness of the impact it can have on pregnancy? Thanks 😊

My mum has a bicornuate uterus! Can't help on the consultant care etc but in case you were worrying, me and my sister were both absolutely fine. Just breach so mum needed a c-section both times!

Is it safe to have sex after losing mucus plug?

We were planning on having sex tonight to try and get labour moving, but I've just lost quite a large amount of my mucus plug and maybe had a bloody show although I'm not entirely sure, it wasn't much blood.

Is it generally safe to have unprotected sex or is there a risk of infection?

37+2 rib pains

The past 3 days I’ve had the most excruciating rib pains to the point I can’t even sleep on my side or sit up without being in constant agony and feeling really breathless has anyone else experienced this?

Doula

Hello! I hired a doula at 5 weeks and I’m currently 31 weeks. I have not really connected with her and I have connected much more with my OBGYN.

I also recently found out she’s a Trump supporter which makes me concerned about her beliefs about women’s right to choose. This seems to be in direct conflict with what I believed Doula’s did (empowered women to be in control of their labors).

Has anyone had concerns about their doula in their third trimester and decided to go without. I have a super supportive husband who is a doctor at the hospital I’m delivering at. I also am hoping that my sister who lives abroad can make the delivery. I feel like with the two of them, I won’t need to doula. I just feel like after all this time with her, it’s strange we are still not comfortable with each other.

I’d love to hear folks thoughts. This is not an invitation to argue about politics. If you are a Trump supporter just keep it moving.
